“My work as an artist explores how we relate to the soma, body and the pathways in which we interact with the natural elements that surround us. I am more than often drawn to explore the internal landscapes that make us who we are and how that translates into movement. Life isn’t linear, but it spirals and can loop us around in all different directions within a single moment in time. It moves us through layers of emotion — love, grief, sadness, anger, betrayal — and it is within these deeply personal and somatic realms where I hope to illuminate the intimate and felt spaces between skin, bone and the soft tissues of the body — transporting us into a more introspective and vulnerable state of our humanness.”
